I Was Only Writing About This Today

May be an image of text that says "I witness Now, every time a strong person, I want to know: What dark did you conquer your story? Mountains do not rise without earthquakes. in -Katherine MacKenett"
A friend wanted a blurb written about his crafted items - he gave me some lines to play with and we chatted about the aim of his work. I tapped in some of his key words and phrases and rejigged the lines, hoping that I have edited enough to resonate with both him and members of the public. Fifty words smoothed out and one happy customer - though, I am sure I will be paid in cake - I really should take out my profile blurb of saying that I only "scribble for cold, hard cash, or wine and doughnuts."

Later, I find this on FB, which kind of reminds me of what we had jointly written - very much the same vein. Ironic how the universe works sometimes.
