I have made some headway on my proofreading course, where I am learning when to proofread and when to line edit AND proofread. As per previous assignments, the brief is vague and the work (an ebook manual) is purposely messy. Thing is, there are some things that I can't make head nor tail of it. Tomorrow will be about rereading it out loud, refer to Lesson 6 again to make sure I haven't overstepped my boundaries of proofreading and see if this can be written in a whole better way.
Trying to find three positive things to end the day, as it has not been the best of times.
1) I repotted my succulent plant in a bigger, prettier pot.
2) Today, I have been clap-back queen, though too rude to discuss on here.
3) Prodigal 2 bought me a pecan plait and a meal deal.
Better days ahead, hopefully
