Answer for question 4519.

Have you ever given someone a handmade present? If so, what was it? How long did you work on it, and did it turn out the way you wanted it to? What did the recipient think of your hard work?
I have made many an item for others (stained glass, clay modeling, silver, cards etc) and I think i got a general seal of approval from all. I haven't made anything for a while, but did make a beaded item for my closest friend about 2 years ago. It was a purple and black necklace, where the signature piece was a large tassle.

I should go back to crafting at some point - possibly in six months time when I will have a tad more time.

A Better Day

It hasn't been so bad today - I think if the 3rd year transition students stick together, we might just find a way forward.  I have rethought the situation and I think I need them as much as they need me.  Maybe we will become invaluable to each other in the long run.  As a bunch we are very different, but we do feel unite in our effort to 'adapt and overcome'.

it has been suggested to me that I have a look into the stories of M.R. James for the dissertation.  I have also been advised to email another lecturer, who covers the aspects of phantasmagoria in her MA studies group. Another plus, is that I have got £100 worth of Amazon vouchers for books (free - weeeeeee!!!)

Let's see what Friday brings :-)
