2 Are you religious or spiritual?
I think you can be both. Most people of faith would say that you can't have one without the other. I am aware that quite a few people consider their faith as part of their culture, but when questioned more deeply, some will admit that it's because it is what they have always done and feel lost without it. "No one truly knows for sure, do they? We can only live in hope" etc. I know there are others who have found their faith late in life and derive huge comfort from their belief becoming a cast-iron certainty.
Personally, I veer towards being more spiritually-lead with a very open mind. I am consciously aware that I am a product of my culture and therefore subscribe to the laws of the land, laws of which have been largely based on the Ten Commandments, using the Bible as a guideline. However, I tend to follow a more teleological approach that an absolutist deontological and head towards following moral codes and in my best capacity, do no harm to others or myself in the process.
