A Nice Idea

...however, I have met plenty of 'nice' people.  'Nice' is more often displayed as 'pleasant,' it is not always 'genuine'.  I prefer 'genuine' over 'nice'.  You can be both, of course - but I have found that 'nice' can be a very superficial word.  'Genuine' is closer to what I would prefer.  No one is 100% 'genuine' - we all use filters, we all don masks, we would be fools not to.  What society sees is rarely undilluted, but 'nice' is often a 'veneer' over something else that is insubstantial.
