Oooo, same here!

Over in the UK, there seems to be a lot going on in the autumn time - from Halloween to Bonfire night and beyond. It comes to a shuddering halt after Christmas, the darkest and coldest time of the year, where lights and good cheer are packed away for another year.

I think we should incorporate a festival of hibernation, a variation on the Danish 'hygge' where hot chocolate, candles and community are positively encouraged.

Here, thankfully, there's no real need to hibernate, although having a bit of rest after the holidays would be nice. It would also be nice if we could ease into the quiet of January instead of the screeching halt after the first. Oh well, January is for planning...

How are you doing re the job front? Any luck re outside support?

Have a couple of weeks invigilating coming up, which will keep me out of trouble! Hoping then that the agencies will get going.
