I kind of get the Pippi Longstocking comparison. I never thought she was as smart as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, though.

Hmm - I just need to readjust my thinking maybe.

When I was in grade school, there was a girl I'm my class who kind of looked like Pippi Longstocking with red braids, but she had some issues, and disappeared after one year. I could easily picture her becoming the woman in the Dragon Tattoo books.

I just think I had a very different picture in my head - will have to think on this.
