Dill: 2003 - 2017

It is with heartbreaking sadness to announce that our beloved cat Dill has passed away. He was 14 years old and had complications with thyroid and kidney. He was such a lovely, loving, special cat and will be a much missed member of the family.

RIP - my study buddy and constant companion, Dill xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sorry for your loss; such a beauty.

He was the most beautiful cat in real life - the photos never did him justice. He was such a special cat,sat with me through all of life's rocky times, was especially close to me during my degree. I got my paper confirmation of results this morning, literally just after he was put to sleep. You know what it is like when a beloved cat chum goes - it just wipes the floor with you.

Thank you for your kind words.

Aw, my condolence. *hugs*

He was such a big part of my life, that I don't know what I will do without him. He was my boy.

*hugs* Believe me when I say that I know and understand what you are going through.

Thank you for your kind words.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

RIP Dill.

Oh, I'm so sorry. He's beautiful and I'm sure you will miss him. It's so hard to let those old ones go, they become part of the furniture and it's not the same without them. Keeping you all in my thoughts.

I am so sorry. What a sweet and beautiful little friend to have had for so long.
Love and hugs.

Thank you for your kind words.

Cats are very special little fur people.

Thank you for your kind words, Jonny - of course you understand well how I feel because of Rudy. It is so hard, isn't it? We had to make the decision to put him down because he went from being still interested in life and eating to struggling and then later being in pain. You just can't let it happen to your old friend, can you?

The vet was very lovely and made sure Dill was comfortable and gave the injection in two phases so it was like he went to sleep then just passed away. It was absolutely the right decision and my only regret is that the vet couldn't come a little quicker. We will be having his ashes back in 10 days time.
