In this time of hate, taxi drivers (including Muslim taxi drivers) were taking people to safety free of charge, hotel staff were taking lost children in and twitter exploded with people sharing information to help people find loved ones or get others to safety. Local people opened up their homes, hospital staff, including Muslim doctors and nurses, worked on adults and children, or were on call. People donated blood.
The dead, the injured and the people of Manchester are in people's thoughts and prayers. Please do not turn this into a hate vendetta against the Muslim communities. Blame breeds implacable hated and in the face of this atrocity, we need to be selfless and help each other. In doing this, people with malevolent intention will never succeed.
