A Brilliant Day for the English Studies FdA!!

A great few weeks for the FdA English Studies course at Truro College!

Three of our first years have managed to get into the Plymouth University magazine INK! with their poems on minerals – which can be read here at INK! WordPress page. Below are the specific links to their work.

Helen Draper – Matter

Jan Hobbs – Bitter Salt

Adam Kheroura – Gwrys yn Kernow (Made in Cornwall)

Adam has had his poem made into a short film, by Eia Film producer Alban Rionard, which makes this achievement all the more special.  I am hoping to post the videos soon, when the embedding feature becomes available.

Plus, India Tokeley has written a superb eBooklet for the Royal Cornwall Geological Society bicentennial celebrations, using our mineral poetry. She has done an excellent job, which can be seen by clicking the picture below.

Congratulations to all – more reasons to pursue Higher Education courses in Cornwall.

Secretly very pleased with India's work, as all but two of the photos are mine.  She's done an ace job :-)
